Hardware on display range from sub $15 smartphone devices to high end smartphones with the largest, [4.3"]  sharpest most sensitive touchscreens and the fastest processors ( 1 GHz—the fastest processor speed )  due to hit the market in the next few weeks thanks to HTC HD2 and T-Mobile

LTE, Long Term Evolution beyond third generation mobile broadband standard, successor to UMTS and CDMA2000 and 4G cellular technologies are all on display. New apps and hardware from handset manufacturers, mobile operators, software companies and many more industry experts are in attendance this year at the World Mobile Congress with many new devices adopting the Android os and connected services provided through Google sync apps.

Societal trends point towards more connections from mobile internet services increasing current subscribers from 4.6 billion to 5 billion people who are choosing smartphones, the favored all in one device to stay connected to the internet and online services ranging from banking to health services. We have gone beyond cell phone love of these wondergadgets to dependence on mobile communication services. Even in an economic downturn such as we are currently experiencing people will disconnect their land line service first before they discontinue cell phone service.
